Jeb C. Sanford

Co-Chief Executive Officer, President, and Managing Editor
 

Jeb Sanford, along with his wife Dianne have led Sanford Guide for over 25 years. Prior to assuming responsibility at Sanford Guide in 1995, Jeb practiced law. From 1987 to 1995, Jeb served as a Trial Lawyer, Senior Lawyer and Assistant Section Chief, at the U.S. Department of Justice in Washington, DC. Prior to that, Jeb was a practicing Attorney at Holbrook, Kaufman & Becker in San Antonio, TX, an Associate at Debevoise & Liberman in Washington, DC. and served as a Briefing Attorney at the Supreme Court of Texas.

 

Jeb holds a B.S. degree from Southern Methodist University and earned his J.D. degree in 1980 from St. Mary’s University School of Law.

Dianne H. Sanford

Co-Chief Executive Officer & General Counsel
 

Dianne Sanford joined Sanford Guide full time in 2001 as Sanford Guide's General Counsel. Prior to her work at Sanford Guide, Dianne practiced law in both government and private practice. Dianne served as an Assistant Attorney General for the State of Vermont, and prior to that, was Of Counsel and Partner at Akin, Gump, Strauss, Hauer & Feld. She worked as a Trial Lawyer and Assistant Section Chief at the U.S. Department of Justice, and served as an Assistant U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia.

 

Dianne holds B.A. and M.A. degrees from Cornell University and earned her J.D. degree in 1976 at Harvard Law School.

Scott D. Kelly

Chief Operating Officer
 

Having worked with Sanford Guide in various capacities since 1995, Scott oversees the operations of the organization, including product development, sales, marketing, business development, and strategic planning. He led the development of Sanford Guide's industry-leading stewardship guidelines platform, and continues to work with clients and staff to identify and solve problems in the healthcare space. In addition to his work with Sanford Guide, he has worked for numerous performing arts and environmental nonprofits. He is an avid hiker, and serves on the board of a regional land conservation nonprofit.

 

Scott holds degrees from Cornell University, Duke University, and Virginia Tech.

Tyler Weisman

Chief Technology Officer & Software Architect

Tyler Weisman has served on Sanford Guide’s software development team since 2019, where he acted as the lead developer of our flagship mobile applications and later transitioned into the role of Senior Software Architect. Tyler now oversees the work of our engineering, quality assurance, and technical teams while steering the strategic development and architectural design of our software solutions. Prior to his work with Sanford Guide, Tyler worked in higher education designing software solutions for faculty, staff, and student initiatives.

 

Tyler holds a B.S. in Computer Science from Bridgewater College.

Kayla Birdsall

Implementation Manager
 

Kayla Birdsall joined Sanford Guide in 2022, and serves as our Implementation Manager. Providing support for our hospital, health system, clinical surveillance, and diagnostic clients, Kayla manages onboarding, enterprise relations, API integrations, antibiogram updates, and content transfer. Prior to her work at Sanford Guide, Kayla was Operations Manager and Senior Project Manager for a successful geospatial software startup, an Applications Operations Manager for a global technology firm, and served as Course Facilitator for graduate-level technology courses.

 

Kayla holds a B.S. in Business Management and an M.S. in Computer Information Systems.

Rudy Izzie

Director of Sales

 

Rudy Izzie joined Sanford Guide in 2020 as a member of our sales team, and was quickly promoted to his current position. Rudy leads Sanford Guide's sales efforts, represents Sanford Guide at trade shows, provides monthly webinars to our mobile app users, develops strategies to improve the customer experience, and works with potential clients and strategic partners to expand Sanford Guide’s presence in hospitals and health systems in the U.S. and around the world. Prior to joining the Sanford Guide team, Rudy was a nationally recognized salesman with top rankings in his field, leading him to train individuals and teams in his methodology.

Andrew joined Sanford Guide in 2024 and oversees the company's strategic marketing initiatives. Having previously worked for a B2B healthcare marketing firm and a major U.S. health system before that, he has extensive experience communicating with healthcare professionals and the general public. He has led branding efforts, launched cross-channel marketing campaigns, produced numerous videos, managed digital marketing strategy, and more, and is excited to help promote Sanford Guide's antimicrobial stewardship solutions.

Ann Lloyd, PharmD, BCPS, BCIDP

Antimicrobial Stewardship Program Manager
 

Ann Lloyd most recently was a Clinical Associate Professor at the University of Oklahoma College of Pharmacy and a Clinical Pharmacy Specialist in Infectious Diseases at Saint Francis Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She co-led the Antimicrobial Stewardship Committee for the Health System, developed and managed the pharmacy vancomycin and aminoglycoside dosing services, and started a PGY2 Infectious Diseases Pharmacy Residency Program. Ann has published and presented on numerous infectious diseases topics both locally and nationally. She has contributed to book chapters and continuing education programs for pharmacists, physicians, and nurses. Her research interests include: antimicrobial stewardship, guideline adherence, and pharmacodynamics.
